Physical Therapy

Pediatric physical therapy is focused on improving a child’s motor development and function to allow maximum movement and independence.  Gross motor development provides the foundation for postural control and higher level developmental skills for play, school, recreation, and life skills.  Our pediatric physical therapists will evaluate and treat components of development such as strength, range of motion, balance, coordination, endurance, and neuromotor control to help your child reach their maximum potential and help parents and caregivers in how to work with their child at home.

Some of our specialized Physical Therapy services include:

  • Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) certified therapists who can extensively evaluate and treat children with neurological or muscular impairments
  • Evaluation and treatment of babies, including neonatal graduates and those with torticollis and/or plagiocephaly
  • Infant Massage
  • Specialized training in Toe Walking assessment and intervention
  • Kinesiotaping
  • Assessment and intervention for orthotics, Theratogs, Benik products, and SPIO garments
  • Assessment for equipment needs including wheelchairs, walkers, standers, and other home or community equipment needs
  • Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES)
